Ms. Saba Akram
Experience & Activities
Ms. Saba Akram is a dedicated faculty member of the Optometry & Orthoptics department. She fully focuses on the growth and development of the department. She is enthusiastic to contribute to the department’s mission of excellence in teaching, clinical practice, and Research.
She graduated in Optometry & Orthoptics from Nishtar Medical College in 2013, and completed her M.Phil (Optometry) in 2016 from the University of Faisalabad. She has 10 years of experience in Optometry, both Teaching and clinical. Her approach to teaching is rooted in fostering critical thinking, clinical competence, and compassionate teaching. She promotes innovative, interdisciplinary solutions to contemporary challenges in optometry. She has several research publications in Orthoptics, Contact lenses, ocular surface diseases, and low vision rehabilitation.
