Experience & Activities

Dr. Atiya Begum began her medical career with a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from CMH Lahore Medical College in 2012, followed by a house job at CMH Lahore. She then joined the Department of Pathology at her alma mater as a Demonstrator, during which she successfully cleared the FCPS-I examination in Pathology. Driven by a passion for histopathology, she pursued and completed her FCPS residency training in Histopathology at CMH Lahore, culminating in the award of FCPS-II.

Her professional growth continued as she was promoted first to Senior Demonstrator and later to Assistant Professor of Pathology. In addition to her clinical and academic credentials, she holds an International Certification in Medical Teaching and Health Professional Education from the University of Liverpool. With over 13 years of cumulative experience, she brings a wealth of clinical expertise and teaching excellence to her role.
