Experience & Activities

Dr. Kanwal Hassan Cheema graduated from King Edward Medical College, Lahore, in 2002. She began her academic career as a Demonstrator in the Department of Pathology at Services Institute of Medical Sciences, Lahore (2006–2009). In 2014, she joined the Department of Pathology at CMH Lahore Medical College and Institute of Dentistry (IOD).

She completed her M.Phil. in Microbiology in 2016 with distinction, earning a gold medal for her outstanding performance. Currently, she is serving as an Assistant Professor of Microbiology at CMH LMC & IOD.

In addition to her teaching and research responsibilities, Dr Cheema contributes to the academic and extracurricular life of the institution as the Managing Editor of MedEra, the college’s scientific journal, and as the Staff Coordinator of the CMH Qiraat and Naat Society.
