Graduation:
 He has done his Bachelors of Medicine & Bachelors of Surgery (MBBS) from Army
Medical College Rawalpindi from 1980 – 1984.
Post-Graduation:
 He completed his Post-Graduation from College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan
Karachi – FCPS-I, Optics & Refraction Module & MCPS in Ophthalmology from
1994 – 2005.
 He also completed his Masters of Science in Medical Administration (MSc) from
Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad from 2008 – 2009.
 He has done CHPE Course from Lahore Garrison University in 2022.
Service:
 He has put in 37 years of Meritorious Uniformed Service in Army Medical Corps of
Pakistan Land Forces from 1980 – 2017.
Awards:
 He was awarded with Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military) in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel on
23 March 2009 and Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military) in the rank of Colonel on 14 August
2012 for his Meritorious services in Pakistan Army.
Missions Abroad:
 He has served in Pak Field Hospital Mogadishu, Somalia on United Nations Peace
Keeping Mission in Somalia (UNOSOM) from 1994 – 1995.
 He has served in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Hajj Medical Mission in year 2001.
Deputations/Secondments:
 He was seconded to Pakistan Navy and has served for 4 years as under:
o Senior Medical Officer COMDESRON from 1995 – 1996
o Medical Officer onboard Ship PNS Zulfiqar from 1995 – 1996
o Recruitment Medical Officer at PN&RC Karachi from 1996 – 1997
o General Duty Medical Officer at PNS Shifa Hospital Karachi from 1997 –
1999

 He was deputed to Para-Military Forces and appointed as Assistant Director Medical
Services & Commanding Officer FC Baluchistan Hospital at Headquarters Frontier
Corps Baluchistan Quetta from 2005 – 2007.
 He was seconded to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he has served as Training
Medical Officer of 14 Imam Turki Brigade Tabuk from 2008 – 2011.
Important Administrative Appointments:
 He has worked at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Multan as a Hospital Manager
& Administrator (Deputy Commandant) from 2011 – 2013.
 He has also worked as Director, Hospital Management System at Medical Directorate,
General Headquarters Rawalpindi from 2013 – 2015.
 He has served as Commandant of AK CMH & Medical Superintendent of Sheikh
Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital at Muzaffarabad from 2015 – 2017.
 He has worked as Health Consultant in Headquarter Military Lands & Cantonments
Rawalpindi from 2017 – 2018.
 He has served as Medical Superintendent of Mohi-Ud-Din Teaching Hospital Mirpur,
AJ&K from 2018 – 2021.
 He has been appointed as Director School of Allied Health Sciences in CMH Lahore
Medical College & Institute of Dentistry, Lahore since December 2021.
