She completed her BSc (Hons) in Food Sciences and Human Nutrition from Kinnaird College for Women in 2021. She was placed in Prinicipals Merit List of Honor due to her notable academic performance.
She completed her MPhil in Food Sciences and Human Nutrition from Kinnaird College for Women in 2023.
Curtently, she is serving as a Clinical Dietitian at CMH Lahore, where she provides dietary counselling to the admitted as well as OPD patients.
She administers diet plans to patients across various departments including Station Family Medicine, Station Family Surgical, Station Family HDU, CNE Wards and Dialysis Unit.
She deals with delivering lectures and supervising the clinical training of dietetic interns. She mentor students in clinical practice and emphasizes the use of patient-centered and evidence-based care in dietary management of diseases.
She is also responsible for the development of educational material for patients counselling in form of brochures, leaflets and panaflexes.
She manages detailed medical and nutritional records of patients and actively participates in brainstorming sessions aimed at improving patient outcomes and clinical practices.
Previously, she gained valuable research experience as a Student Research Assistant at Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore (2022-2023).
She designed research strategies for focus group discussions, developed methodologies for recipe standardization and sensory evaluation, and conducted nutrient evaluations of traditional Pakistani dishes.
She has authored a research paper on standardization of cereal and vegetable based pakistani dishes which is published in South Asian Journal of Public Health.
She has also presented abstracts and research papers at national and international conferences.
She has multiple internship experiences that honed her clinical and technical skills such as Hameed Latif Hospital, Services Hospital, Al-Razi Healthcare.
During these internships she gained practical experience managing patients with multiple diseases, understanding medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for diverse health conditions, and developing enteral and parenteral feeding plans.
She also served as a Food Technology Intern at the Halal Research Council (2021) where she contributed to formulating innovative food products in line with Halal standards, developed a comprehensive social media engagement strategy, and co-authored research articles on various aspects of the Halal industry.
She worked a Consultant Community Nutritionist at Lyceate School, Lahore (2021), where she collected anthropometric and dietary data from children, assessed their nutritional status, and provided dietary recommendations to improve their eating habits and overall health.
