Ms. Zaveera Qutb
Experience & Activities
She graduated with a B.S. (Hons.) in Nutrition from Rashid Latif Medical College in 2020, earning 5 Gold Medals and a Silver Medal for academic excellence.
She completed her M.Phil. in Food and Nutrition from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) in 2023.
She is currently serving as a Clinical Dietitian at CMH Lahore, where she provides nutrition care to inpatients and outpatients, conducts assessments, develops therapeutic diet plans, and offers individualized counseling. She works closely with the multidisciplinary medical team to ensure optimal nutrition support across various clinical conditions.
In addition to her clinical role, she is actively engaged in teaching and mentoring dietetic interns, delivering lectures, supervising clinical training, and promoting evidence-based nutrition practices within the hospital.
She has also been involved in public health initiatives through the Public Health Department, delivering educational sessions and awareness lectures on the nutritional management of various diseases. These community outreach activities focus on promoting healthy eating habits, disease prevention, and lifestyle modification through proper nutrition.
Her earlier experience includes clinical rotations at Arif Memorial Teaching Hospital (2018–2020) and work in the Renal Ward at Shaikh Zayed Hospital (2020), where she specialized in diet therapy and patient education.
She has contributed to several nutrition education and community programs, in different schools where she conducted interactive sessions for secondary school students on healthy eating, portion control, and balanced diets. Additionally, she participated in Nutrition Camps at Arif Memorial Teaching Hospital, organizing personalized medical nutrition therapy (MNT) sessions, workshops, and group discussions to promote dietary self-management and long-term wellness among participants.
Her professional competencies encompass a wide range of nutrition and dietetic skills, including nutritional assessment, personalized meal planning, weight management, chronic disease nutrition, nutrient analysis, counseling and education, food label interpretation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
She holds professional certifications in Lifestyle Medicine from Harvard Medical School and Nutritional Assessment from Arif Memorial Teaching Hospital.
