  • Sana Saadat is serving as Assistant Professor and HOD in the Department of Human Nutrition & Dietetics (HND) in the School of Allied Heath Sciences (SAHS), CMH Lahore Medical College & Institute of Dentistry, Lahore
  • She holds a PhD in Human Nutrition and Dietetics (2025) from Government College University, Faisalabad. Her doctoral research focused on the development of micronutrient-fortified soybean sandwich biscuits and their bio-efficacy in school-aged children, addressing critical challenges of malnutrition and micronutrient deficiencies
  • She completed her Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. (Hons.) in Human Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, establishing a strong academic foundation in nutritional sciences and dietetics
  • She has over 4 years of teaching experience in higher education, delivering courses in Functional Foods & Nutraceuticals, Clinical Nutrition, Life Cycle Nutrition, Infant and Young Child Feeding, Geriatric Nutrition, Micronutrients, Medical Nutrition Therapy, Nutrition in Chronic Disease Management, and Research Methodology.
  • She has served as a Permanent Faculty Member and Program In-Charge at Multan University of Science & Technology (2023–2025).
  • She has worked as a Visiting Lecturer at Government College University, Faisalabad (2018–2020).
  • She has worked as a Clinical Dietitian in Mian Trust Hospital and United Hospital Faisalabad, managing patients with diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, renal disorders, and other metabolic conditions through individualized nutrition care plans.
  • She has been actively involved in curriculum development, academic program enhancement, and student mentorship, including supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
  • She has delivered seminars, workshops, and professional training sessions on nutrition, health, and lifestyle management.
  • She has participated in various national and international conferences, workshops, and professional development programs, contributing to academic excellence and research advancement.
  • She is an active member of professional bodies, including the Nutritionists Association of Pakistan and the Society of Food Scientists.
  • Her research work focuses on clinical nutrition, functional foods, micronutrient fortification, and public health nutrition, aiming to address malnutrition and improve health outcomes.
